The company was founded by Chris, alongside his own child care provider, Yoli. Their shared goal was simple: make quality early care reachable for families close to where they live. New Horizons belongs to Erie, and the people here are your neighbors.
Every child should have access to quality early care and education, ideally close to home. We work with early educators so they can build sustainable businesses that fit the real needs of families. The group partners with civic leaders and networks at the local, state and federal levels, building child care technology and multi-point solutions. Our team brings different perspectives because communities across the country are different.
Chris saw too many parents anxious about finding child care. He also saw early educators who could not afford care for their own children while they worked. He knew there had to be a better way to address the problem for families and teachers alike, so he started one.
